A Love Song

I love this "first semester Spanish love song." I haven't even taken Spanish, but I know enough to understand most of it. I think most of us who have taken a semester or two of any foreign language would have learned similar phrases . . . though whether or not we'd be clever enough to weave them into such a moving love song is another matter altogether.
P.S. I love when he says he doesn't remember 11 because everyone can count to 10 in Spanish. Also, thank you Amy for sending me this to begin with.

Jon and I laughed, and then he said, "That's so dumb!" and laughed some more. My face hurts.

I love it! I agree that my favorite part is his open shirt, so I can see his blindingly white chest. I also like "Nachos Grandes y Cinnamon Twist". Classic!

That girl looks like she's trying not to laugh her head off the whole time. I love that he says he "likes the library" and that his shirt is wide open so you can see he's such a gringo. I took two years of Spanish at W.S.U. and this video about wraps up everything I would know how to say.

Don't you all love when he sings, "what time is it? WHAT TIME IS IT? La da da dee da." and when he almost tips over that vase.

I loved that. The funny thing is your totally right about taking "1 semester" and understanding it. I loved how he almost knocked the vases over during the video and had to stablizie them. Loved it. Classic.

Nancy, I'm glad you sent me that video, because now my whole Spanish 3 class has it memorized! They even include how I yell "blanco" (pronounced correctly) after he sings it wrong. One of my students told me he sang the song to a girl at lunch. I asked him if he changed the name, but he said no, he just sang "Me llamo Mike." Anyway, gracias!
