Granny Wooldridge

These bunnies were an Easter gift for my kids made by Granny Wooldridge. Granny Wooldridge is so great. She doesn't think it's fair that my kids don't have a grandma here, so she is always doing sweet things for us. She lets me get flower starts from her garden, made Penny a blessing dress, gives me apples for baking, etc.
Anyway, I had to show off these bunnies because they are my new favorite thing. I don't know if the pictures do them justice, but they are the coolest critters ever. I am in love with them and if I could sew, I would make them all the day long out of all sorts of different cool fabrics and give them to everyone I love! Happy Easter to you all!

Where can I get myself one one these Granny Woodbridges? Those are too cute. Lucky (in Napoleon's voice).

Oh I meant Granny Droolridge, or Granny Coolmidge....whatever.

Whatever, P, you totally have your own MOTHER crocheting full grinch sweaters!! Now that's "Lucky" (napolean too)

That is incredibly sweet. I love anything that is home-made, especially some little stuffed animal. Happy late Easter to you as well. As Ana has pointed out to me several times today, it's Easter Monday in Canada (it's on her calendar).

Can you ask this Granny to send me a little pattern? you know i would make cute ones! and those would look really cute on the little shelf in Deedsy's room that i just leave empty because i don't know what to put on it. Ask her like this, "Granny, my sister doesn't have any Grannies at all. Hers died. She was wondering if she could have your pattern for making bunnies since her grandmas died and she wants to make these to remember what it was like to have a granny that made her an afghan."

I almost want to cry at your horrible awful situation (hardly realizing that it is my own).

So nice to give of herself you better be over there sweeping her leaves...or whatever you do there. It is cool when people do that for each other

Here I come! I'm packin' up the sewing machine - (in my doctor's carrying bag) - and comin' over to dissect those bunnies so that we can recreate them! mooowahahahaha! (evil scientist/doctor - picture Dr. Frankenstein with a sewing machine - scary baby - VERY scary!)

Ohhh yes, I know you could figure them out!! Plus, you must MUST cart that sewing machine around far far more often. In fact I'd like to see your trusty old friend always at your side -- at the ready for any sewing emergency we might chance upon.

Those are the sweetest bunnies ever. You really should learn how to recreate them so we can all expect one next year for easter. Liz
