My Usual Type of Background Noise

A: You're trying to annoy me!

D: I'm TRYING to do a tap dance!

I don't know why this makes me laugh so much. It just does. I mean, who could find a tap dance annoying?

Why the Title?

Partly because chickens really have lived in my window well. (And on more than one occasion! . . . They are forever wanting to live in the window well). But mostly because, the first time I blogged about a chicken in the window well, it occurred to me that I had discovered a much better blog name than the boring old "Nancy's Thoughts" that I'd spent the previous two years blogging under.
