An After School Car Ride Home

Goldie: Mom, why do some people eat all kinds of animals?

Me: Oh, I don't know. Sometimes they do in poorer countrys because they don't have much money to spend on food.

Goldie: Cassandra's dad eats all kinds of animals (Cassandra being a girl in her Kindergarten class) -- like baby chicks, and, (here, she looked at me with wild eyes) he even ate their dog!

Me: Umm . . . well . . . huh.

Hopefully no one was friends with that dog on Facebook.

Maybe it was a hot dog! Maybe her dad is Alice Cooper. Maybe he was really hungry. Maybe he's weird. Please find out why and get back to us!

I love all of these three posts (umbrella and haircut). I find I am missing you today . . . . and that you have been on my brain the past few.
Guess what? Jon wants chickens! And here - you thought you'd go a few posts without them. Sorry . . . now we're chicken shopping, chicken coop browsing, drawing blueprints, seeking architects, sampling paints and scheming away. Do they make chicken outfits like they make dog clothes? Because . . . wouldn't that be awesome?!!! LOL Now - if only the landlord will approve. ha!

Oh Marz, you have been saying things in my very favorite Marzee style of saying things all day today! Your visions are quite perfect and yes, if you don't sew already, you will have to learn because I am waiting waiting to see all the cool chicken outfits you create for your little brood.
