Also, the other day I noticed a bunch of cereal crumbs mashed in a little crevice in one of our kitchen chairs. It was a skinny spot, so I grabbed a little 3x5 card and scraped it along there -- hoping to flip the crumbs out. A few minutes later I returned to the kitchen to find Jesse just finishing up the same activity with the card and the chair and loudly proclaiming, "I did it, Mom!"
"What did you do?" I asked.
He looked at the card; down at the chair; then replied, "I don't know." I loved that he was just mimicking what he'd seen me do even though he had no idea why anyone would do it or what it would accomplish.

Have you ever asked Mike's mom if he was such a busy body as Jesse? Because now that he knows how to clean out tight spots with an index card, I think the toolbox is next and he'll be your Mr. Fix-it when Mike is unable to get around to things. Won't your life just be blissful - soon enough, when he grows up a little, and stops making so many messes and causing such havoc all the time. And if you ask Gayle about Mike and she says he was, then you can just blame Mike and it will help you feel a little better in those moments when things just so awry with Mr. Jesse under foot causing trouble.
I'm not sure that made sense but I'm too tired to try and explain what I was trying to say. Sorry. Long week stuck inside while Texas discovers the fun of ice and snow!
i liked the writing, but that top pic of jesse is one of the coolest photos i've ever seen. what did you do to it? so cool!
Shoobs, Yes, it is a little action using. I finally figured out how to download a few just the other day. I don't exactly understand how to handle them as I think you are supposed to be able to adjust them, but it is quite fun to just click a button and see different things happen. I only have a few, but the other day I did try that piknik.com site and they have different things you can do to your pictures that are basically just actions too, so even if you don't have photoshop (or its lesser pal "elements" -- like I have), you might want to try that sometime.
