Bedazzle This!!

That's right, you heard me -- BE-DAZZLE . . . as in bedazzled, as in a bedazzler!! Any time I have heard of anyone bedazzling it has made me laugh like, "what a good joke," because it brings up images of a decade long ago when my older sisters might have been adding little gems happily to shirts and jeans and what not. BUT, I am now singing a new tune, the tune of the bedazzler, and I firmly believe that any of you who have young girls will want to get them one for Christmas.

Here is how we became bedazzlers. My husband was taking Abe on a little 4-wheeling adventure this Saturday and he didn't want the girls to be sad; so, the night before, he took them to Wal-Mart and returned, much to my surprise, with a bedazzler and some plain aprons. The box tried to trick people who might be turned away by the thought of a bedazzler by calling it a GeMagic, but I wasn't fooled, it was a bedazzler.

Anyway, it basically works like a stapler -- stapling little gems into whatever you like. My girls had so much fun with it on Saturday that I plan on letting them bedazzle to their little hearts content from here on out. I love my husband. I love that he can pick out way better and cooler gifts for our kids than I could ever think of. Look at my little bedazzled girls.
P.S. I already know what I will be seeing from here on out on all of your blogs -- bedazzled curtains and towels, bedazzled onesies and hats, etc. etc. I hope you all won't get too carried away.

ET will actually love this for Xmas - thank you for the little heads up on a great little gift! Well, thank Mike for me!

When I read GeMagic I read "Gee Magic" as in 'Gee what a magical thing" - it only took me a few trys to realize that it was really GEM MAGIC! And yes, it is so a Bedazzler as in BE DAZZLED!

Please - give me more gift ideas. I don't want the Cup cake maker!

PS - now that the bedazzler is out of your system, will you please blog about the gas station?

aside from the fact that your girls already had two perfectly good aprons made with l-o-v-e, i love them! and i'm very happy for a christmas idea that isn't a barbie or polly pocket. Sadly i didn't figure out gemagic- was "gem-magic" just now until jana said it. i thought it was made from general electric or something

Yah, Shan,I totally couldn't believe Mike would be such a traitor as to get APRONS for them to bedazzle!! That is why these aprons will be used only for woodworking in the shop while YOUR aprons will be for all our baking.

Well I've never heard of such a thing! How cool and totally fun! I can't wait to get one and Be-Dazzle my curtains! Lucky (Napoleon).

Dang, I've always said that Mike is pretty great. It is too awesome that he #1: even thought to get something for the girls so that they wouldn't be too sad when he #2 took his son on a 4-wheeler ride and #3 that he even KNEW what your girls would like and would think was so fun!!!

Sweets has made it pretty clear that if he dies I am only allowed to marry someone Mike H. 'ish (of course "H" standing for your last name). I'm glad that Sweets has put so much thought into this narrowing it down to the exact person that he should be like and everything. I am pretty convinced that IF he were to die I would probably just continue to raise my kids until they're out of the house and married (in the meantime getting all motherly-like and my hair probably turning white overnight and all) and then going on a few missions later on after seeing several of my grandkids born. I guess I've put a lot of thought into it too.

Anywho, yeah, the bedazzler is dazzling.

Your girls look so cute and so happy with their little bedazzled selves. What a great idea. Sometimes husbands are so good at offering an alternative play activity that us moms would never think of. Way to go Mike!
