Goldie's Artwork

For being only just recently turned five, my young Goldie is quite the artist.

Check out this dinosaur:
And this cool boy:And this somewhat questionably dressed mermaid (although anyone can see that she clealry has the physique to get away with it): And look at these two cute girls. Why, one has a headband! And the other is obviously having the time of her life skipping along -- with a purse and lollypop in tow. A doll and stuffed animal elephant tossed at her feet, a hat on her head, and all her cute matchyness.
I must admit though, that there is one extra detail I love about these girls. Their teeth. Wowzers.

wow, those are truly amazingly good! what fun to see talents coming out. that has been one of the most fun things about the kids getting older is them discovering things that they are good at--and giving up things that they once (or we once) thought would be fun for them but are not really their "thing".

i remember drawing lots of rows of teeth, too, and somebody pointing out to me nicely that we actually each only have 2 rows of teeth (unlike sharks). tell goldie i am super impressed and love all of the detail and time she put into them!

These pictures are awesome! i swear she could do a little children's book. I am laughing because I think Con and Will have some pretty good artistic talent so it just seems normal these good pictures of Goldie's. But after seeing Joe's art work I have to say Goldie's is amazing. Poor Poor Joe. He brought home this huge poster board with a picture drawn. It was some really crappy circles that he told me was a bear and stream and mountains. so sad

O I also love that the mermaid had the body to pull off not being dressed modestly...

I love the little kid pictures. They are the best. I have a hard, hard time of ridding myself of them. They are so cute. Believe it or not (because I am a failure at posting) but my boys are quite artistic, they get it all from Dave!

I love the would you rather game. My boys love to do it on car rides. I used to stress about the "would you rather be deaf or blind" and would come up with some good explanations for why one would be better than the other, then I had the thought, "Why oh why must I be thinking about this, hopefully I will never have to choose so I choose neither." Analyze that!

I love kids artwork! What cute little pictures she has drawn there. I love the drawing of the girl with like 500 teeth. I also meant to comment on your story about the mixer a couple of posts ago. I mostly wanted to say that it was a very funny story! It seems to me that you wouldn't get an electrical shock from putting it in your mouth, but I could be wrong with that hypothesis!

P.S. Sorry that I haven't been a regular commenter on your blog lately, I've been in a bit of a blogging funk. However, that doesn't mean that I haven't been a faithful reader of your blog. Nevertheless, sorry for the negligence.

I have two pictures that I drew, and they are somewhat similar to the last two. even with the teeth. except mine even had diagonal lines. yes, not just vertical and horizontal, but also diagonal.
