Because Kenya had a trip to DC (followed by an internship in DC a few weeks later) planned before she even met Abe, there's been a bit of craziness for them trying to fit wedding planning in during the small space of time between that trip and internship. Abe hadn't even met Kenya's parents (who live in Vegas) yet. They needed to squeeze a trip in down there for Abe to officially ask her parents "for her hand in marriage" before he felt right about officially proposing. And then there were only about two weekends left before she'd be gone again.
One of those weekends they drove up here. I met them in Mantua by the poppy fields (though they weren't in full bloom yet), and we took some engagement shots before heading up to Bear Lake for a weekend a the cabin.
