A leisurely and satisfactory mix of ordinary things and fun things. (One fun thing? Goldie turned 17! What?)
But then, at the beginning of July, we had ABE COMING HOME (More on that in another post)! And everything switched to warp speed. In a blink we have practically reached the end of July!
We took him immediately (as in: the day he returned) to a family reunion at Bear Lake. And then Gold and Pen had Girls' Camp. And Penny started a little theater camp. And Daisy and Goldie kept working away at their jobs. And IFA hired Abe again. And it isn't slowing down. Goldie is heading to AFY just around the corner. And Mike and the older kids are going to D.C. And then ... we will be staring the school year in the face again.
It all reminds me a bit of when I have a newborn and am trying desperately to hold them in that sacred beginning spot, but time won't stop spiraling on!
Anyway, a few of the pictures from said activities to wind up this post.
A bit from Bear Lake:
Every single member of Mike's family! And a few pictures I was texted from a leader at Girls' Camp:
